I am so excited to collaborate with a wonderful group of bloggers for a week long episode of spring home tours. I have been craving the warm sunlight and cool breezes that spring brings to my part of the world. My farmhouse spring decor was inspired by nature.

My farmhouse spring decor…

For those of you who don’t know me from a hole in the wall, I live in a small town of approximately 600 people, just minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park.

I live in a very rural area, an area surrounded by farms. While I was originally a city girl, this small town atmosphere has seeped into my blood. Spring time on the farm is so peaceful and serene. This is what I strive for in my home.

Welcome to my front porch. The first stop in my home. This space sets the tone for what is to come through the rest of my home.

It is simple, nature inspired, and light filled. There is a rustic farmhouse style to this space. Spring at its best. I did a quick update to my front door and adorned it with a simple flower swag wreath.

As I was trying to grab some great money shots of my entryway this morning, I could help but be mesmerized by the wonderful light beaming through my front door. Amazingly and sad enough, a few hours after taking this shot, the world outside opened up and it was winter once again. At least it was spring for for a little while a least.

My entry didn’t need much for spring. Honestly, this amazing antique pew is such a statement on its own, just a few simple accessories is all it needs.

Some handmade pom poms draped across the church pew adds a touch of whimsy to the space.

Using three mason jars, I create this fun farmhouse spring wall decor. I tied twine around the rims and looped them all together. I added some spring flowers to the jars.

Add some green to your home this spring…

As you leave my entry, you are led into my main family room. Before reaching my family room however, old Bessie is there to greet you.

This room by far gets more love and wear and tear than most rooms in my home. It is the heart of the home. If you look at the bottom right of this picture, you will see my trusty German Shepherd buddy Bruin that is always sneaking into pictures.

I took many shots of this room and did not notice until I was editing them that he was in every one of them! Or at least part of him was. That’s okay, he is just as important to this home as any farmhouse spring decor.

As you can see, I wanted to create a light filled neutral pallet for spring with a few touches of greenery and whimsy. More rustic farmhouse spring decor.

I am always grateful when I can capture a picture of this lovely lady with the light dancing off her hair.

More rustic farmhouse spring decor!

This room is so filled with light, I sometimes have a hard time capturing many good pictures because it floods in so strong from all the large windows.

Leaving my family room, you are immediately greeted by my kitchen.

My simple spring centerpiece for my kitchen is full of texture and simplicity.

And into my dining room. With a few simple updates to this room, I was able to freshen it up for spring. With a little spring artwork on my butcher paper and dining room chair covers, I took this room from drab to fab.

I love my ticking strip fabric curtains against my milk bucket and puss* willows. These are essential to my farmhouse spring decor home tour.Farmhouse Spring Decor - My Spring Home Tour (18)

My antique dough bowl from Painted Fox Treasures is my most prized possession in this room. I love it so. I filled it with rolled book pages for a quick and interesting centerpiece.

Finally my spring inspired mudroom is a great landing for my kids to come and go. This is a bright and sunny room that I love coming home to. You can see how I made the spring book page banner here.
